MY FIRST TIME WATCHING A HORROR MOVIE AT THE CINEMA

So, for this post I will be sharing with you guys about a movie that I watched recently.

Last Tuesday, me and two of my friends, Khadijah🌷 and Aisyah🌹(remember I told you guys about her on my previous post? ),we decided to hang out at NU Sentral. I wasn't really familiar on going there, but my grandma always tells me to try and explore new things. So, why not?

This is the planned itinerary:

• Movies at the cinema 🎬
• Go to Laser Ops

A place where you have to shoot others to win💥🔦 (nah, don't worry, it won't hurt.)

• Go to Breakout

You'll get locked in a room, and if you're smart enough, try to escape.

• Do some manicure and pedicure ayee!! 💅💆💋
• Food hunting😋🍜🍛🍨 (haha should this be considered as the itinerary too?😶

Well apparently, out of all of the 5 plans, we only did 1 which is,

watching a movie!

I think we just spent too much time chitchatting and gossiping while enjoying our ice creams🍦 and McDonalds meals🍟🍔 until we don't even have enough time to do other activities. Oops, did I just say gossiping?😜

When we were about to buy the movie tickets, Khadijah and I wanted to watch 'Ralph Breaks The Internet' so bad!! I'm so eager to watch it ever since the trailer came out. But then there's Aisyah, kept on insisting us to watch 'The Possession of Hannah Grace'. And clearly from the title we know it's a HORROR MOVIE. I;m not a fan of horror movies and I've never watched any horror movies in cinemas.

You could tell from our faces that me and Khadjah really didn't want to watch it,but Aisyah's puppy eyes never fails to melt people's heart. So that is how we ended up watching it 😑

I chose to sit in the middle so that I will feel safer and secured with someone beside me. Well, most of the time during the movie, I only peeked through the popcorn box hole because I was super duper scared to watch. I screamed for quite a lot of times and I think I annoyed the person who sat in front of me (hehe sorry not sorry man!)😜

Film Synopsis:

A shocking exorcism spirals out of control, claiming the life of a young woman. Months later, morgue worker, Megan Reed takes delivery of a disfigured cadaver during the graveyard shift. Locked inside the basement corridors, Megan's horrifying visions soon lead her to believe that the body is possessed by a demonic force.

Well basically, it is about a girl named Hannah who was possessed by a strong demon😈. Her dad had tried so many ways to free her daughter from the demon. Unfortunately, none of all of his efforts worked until he made his decision to kill her own daughter.(This part seriously made us cry😢)

Believe it or not, even when she died, the demonic force is still inside her. Hannah was sent to a hospital to be kept in the morgue. Megan Reed, who used to be a policewoman quit from her job due to an unforgettable traumatic incident that happened👮. A friend of her, Lisa then helped her to get a work and offered her to work at the morgue during night shift🔬🏥. Ever since Hannah's corpse was delivered, Megan started to feel something fishy and unusual. She then started to get distracted by weird and scary events.

No longer after that, she finds out that Hannah is still alive and started to attack other people. Day by day, she realised that many of her workmates started to be missing. A further and clearer explanation was given when Hannah's father came to the hospital. Actually, Hannah had died years ago but she was never kept buried before because of that powerful demonic force inside her. 

At the end, they managed to destroy Hannah by burning her. A lot of scary. events happened throughout the few days when Hannah's was delievered to the hospital. LIKE SUPER DUPER SCARY. 

This part when she threw Hannah's corpse into the burning place is seriously cool!!!

My Personal Review:

Based on my opinion, I think the story plotting was good, I like how the story goes tense and how I get scared so easily. I remember being scared at the edge of my seat and screaming like crazy. Pity to the person sitting next to me, hehe sorry Aisyah and Khadijah 😅. FYI, both Rotten Tomato and IMDB are rated high. Except for one thing that spoils is that when the characters die, there is not much an explanation on where they went and nobody really tries to search and care about them 😕. Also, Hannah's corpse makes such a crispy sound when she moves, like why she gotta be so crunchy all the time man? ew.

But overall, I ENJOYED the movie and would recommend you guys to watch it. If you're a real scaredy cat like me give the movie a shot, it's way better than other horror movies nowadays. I give this movie :
