How I spend my 3 WEEKS OF SCHOOL HOLIDAYYY

3 WEEKS OF SCHOOL HOLIDAY? WOW.

Heyyo friends! It's already 3.00 a.m. and I'm still blogging. Urgh probably because I can't sleep since I've slept for about 10 hours non-stop already heheπŸ˜…. But issokay,,that doesn't matters. So, I would like to share about my not-so-productive-three weeks of school holiday. zzz.

  • During the 1st week,
We were still in the fasting month. Mama usually wake up us at 5.00 a.m.. I admit that anyone who wakes me up really needs high patience haha poor mama.

The best part of the day is when it's almost maghrib. All of us would sit around the dining table together and I swear I really like those moments because papa usually gets so busy that sometimes we had to eat first.

BAZAAR!

Going to bazaar is a must for me. Usually, i would buy murtabak and mango juice. They are the best!
I wouldn't miss a chance to help the poor sitting on the road, expecting people would give them food and some money.

IGCSE WORKSHOP!

Mama registered me for IGCSE workshop at INFRA Bangi. It was worth the price. The teachers are very dedicated and always make sure all of the students understand. A t first, I thought it is going to be boring but way no! I like how the teachers put along lessons with fun and interesting games.

One with Mr. Brian, our amazing Biology teacher!
Day 1

Selfie time!!!

I also met my long lost friend <3

Last day of workshop
IOI CITY MALL WITH HUSNA!

For the two consecutive days, i slept at Husna's house. Probably because my the distance from my home to INFRA Bangi is wayyyy too far. So, I'm very glad when Husna offered me a night at her house.

Right after class ended on the first day, Husna and I went to IOI City Mall. I've never been there before so I was kinda too excited that time hehe. We went for ice skating! Can you believe it?? Husna is really good at skating and I suck hahaha. She taught me a lot about skating and now I think I'm getting better.

Just me and Husna taking pictures before skating
We finished skating at 6.45p.m.. We didn't realize that we were late until we saw many people already waiting in the restaurants waiting for iftar. We suddenly went into a rush. What's more sad is that, we went to all of the restaurants in the mall and already made 2 rounds of the freaking huge mall, but all of them are already reserved. Can you imagine, even the small cafes are full, even the not-so-grand restaurant like Restoran Ayam Penyet that is located at the end of the mall are full.Until that we even planned to buy food at the bowling alley.😭

Then, we looked at our watch, It's already 7.25p.m., time for iftar :")

We ended up buying burgers and fries at Marrybrown when people started to finish their meals.Sad life. But hey, at least we got something to eat :)

RAMPAGE

at 9.00 p.m., we got ourselves movie ticket. we were excited to watch Rampage because Rotten Tomatoes find it great. We  watched the introduction and,,,

PAP! Bedtime already for me and Husna. ZZZzz

We fell asleep in the cinema! That was really funny. When I woke up, I saw people starting to get out from the cinema and the screen was showing the credits part. I woke Husna up, we looked each other and said

"What happened?? I don't understand a thinggg😭" hmph

So basically it felt like we paid RM15.50 just to watch the introduction and the credits part :")

  • 2ND WEEK OF HOLIDAY
Raya time!!

We celebrated Hari Raya Eidulfitri at Perak. We stayed at a hotel for 4 nights. Hmmm, there's no Internet connection at my hometown but I changed my mind and said "It's raya time. We should be putting away our phones and strengthen our bonds". So here are some raya photos;

I even made honey cornflakes by myself!!

  • LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL HOLIDAY :"(

Today, I'm going back to Pekan because school starts tomorrow but I still cannot find that school mood urgh. hElp.

Okay, gonna pack my stuffs soooo, Toodles!πŸ’—πŸ˜‰

If I were the Prime Minister for the day...

HIIIIII!!! I'm sooooo excited to talk about this topic πŸ‘‹πŸ˜ƒπŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’œ which is,,,,

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE THE PRIME MINISTER FOR THE DAY?

What would I do if I were the Prime Minister for the day? What are my priorities if I were running the country?

So, frankly speaking being a Prime Minister carries a HUGE responsibility. Imagine you being a Prime Minister, ruling the country, managing  the country's economy, thinking how to keep your country peaceful and many more. Wow, that's a big thing. A Prime Minister means a lot to a country. That's why all of the Malaysians are advised to choose the right candidates that they think can bring justice towards our country during the 14th Malaysian General Election on 10th April 2018.

So sad that now most of the eligible voters especially youths are showing that they have less interest towards the election. They would say,

"Oh it's just going to be the same, corruption will still happens"

"It doesn't matters to me who wins or doesn't win"

"Urgh I'm not into politics anymore"

Well, probably because of... you know why *smirk smirk*

So, what I'm trying to show is how a Prime Minister affects the whole country. So, yeah.

Getting back to the real topic, if I were to be a Prime Minister for the day, I think there's not much that I can change in a day, but here's some of my priorities;

  1. I would like to help the poor ones that usually don't even get help from the government. I would like to through every state and visit them. I will try to provide something better for them so that their lives are better.I will bring them food supplies and dresses and clothes to make up their dayπŸšπŸžπŸ‘š. Isn't it something pleasant to see someone turning their frown upside down?😊
  2. I would make sure everyone gets free services of hospital. I believe that many people in Malaysia are taking it hard to pay for the hospital fees that they are willing to suffer the pain and let it heal slower rather than going for a checkup with a doctor. πŸš‘πŸ₯
  3. I would also change the education system in Malaysia. I would like to lessen the number of subjects of university students. Students can only choose those subjects they want to according to the courses that they are taking. So, this will not cause much burden to them. For instance, nowadays students who are taking language and literature should also take Science such as Chemistry, Physics and even Biology that got a looooot of information to be memorized. What does Science got to do with Language??? To me, it is just a burden since the lecturers might also give assignments and then students will sleep late, and wake up late, and can't really focus in class zzzz *sighs*.  So, with me being the Prime Minister, students will no longer have to take subjects that are not related to their courses. πŸ“•πŸ“
  4. I would also stop subsidising all the oil prices. What? Are you crazy? Pay more money for petrol? Hello? I thought I am crazy for doing this. But please hear me first. This is how I will plan to make the whole country work. We are saving billions of ringgit every year if the government stop subsidising the oil. The money will be used to build the number 1 transport system. Singaporean and Sawadeekap neighbour will not enjoy our subsidised oil anymore. We can save a few hundred millions yearly on that alone. Your money and my money, you know. I also have to pay income tax. Yes, talk about income tax. The tax bracket will be increased so that you and me pay less tax. Yahooo. More money to spend. Exactly the point. My government will reimburse or so called subsidise the Malaysian petrol by getting tax payer to pay less tax. The saved tax you can use it to pay petrol. Or take MRT/LRT when the excellect wide coverage transport system is start operation. Save even more. If the crude oil price is going to increase to US$200 per barrel, as what a lot of those speculators are predicting, then the government will have no money to pay the oil company on the subsidise anyway. We will have to cycle to work because even the subsidise petrol price will be around RM5 per liter. That is why we must build the transport system before the oil price increases further.

But hey, It's only for 24 hours and then I'm done! Phew. And I'm back being in a life of a normal Sofea Hanna who likes to eat, sleep and watch movies woohooo \(^0^)/

Me, precisely.

Do You Think The Age of Technologies Turns Us Into Zombies?

Hello peeps! Got something to talk about here πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œπŸ’›

IS TECHNOLOGY HELPING OR KILLING?

Technology has become a major part of our world and the effects it has on our social skills are growing. People argue that technology has brought us together with our community and increased our interaction with people. Yes, technology has brought us many advances, but in my opinion, we’ve become socially deprived because of it or should I say more zombie-like day by day. In a world full of constantly updated technology, it’s easy to feel superior. Look at us, we’re at the top of the food chain and we rule the world. We’re even smart enough to invent machines to do all of the hard work for us.πŸ“±

Or are we not so smart in that aspect? Hmm, not sure.πŸ˜•πŸ˜

The zombie apocalypse is near.

What do I mean by that? No, I don’t mean that we’re being infected by some sort of zombie virus that leaves us desiring other’s brains.

No need to find a gun for each one of us. The zombie apocalypse is already here.

Going back to 5 October 2017, when a tragic incident happened. The power bank carried by a man inside his pocket suddenly exploded without leaving any sign of exploding before. Scary isn't it? In case you have no idea what is a power bank or how it works, Power Banks are comprised of a special battery in a special case with a special circuit to control power flow. They allow you to store electrical energy (deposit it in the bank) and then later use it to charge up a mobile device (withdraw it from the bank).

Back up to September of this year when a young man was killed on a San Francisco subway train. The alleged shooter waved a handgun around for several minutes, at one point wiping his nose with it, before deciding on a random victim to shoot, according to yet-to-be released subway surveillance video. The remarkable thing about the tragedy is that every passenger in the subway car was on their phone. No one noticed the deranged shooter until after he fired his gun.

A German “body-hacker” implanted a device in his arm that broadcasts his body temperature to an Android smartphone and sends alerts when the temperature exceeds a certain limit. What purpose does this serve?

It’s possible that you might call my view hysterical, but it’s backed-up by fact. Cell phones make one a worse driver, Twitter is addictive and people that use Facebook for long periods of time are likely to have higher rates of depression.

There is a lot of records showing accidents due to driver paying fully attention on their gadgets, and is increasing day by day. Besides, cyber bullying also already becoming addictive drug to people. Even if you go other people houses for celebrations or open houses, one of the most common things that you could see is teenagers on their smartphones and not interacting with guests or relatives.Oh, that awkward moment when Baby picks an iPad over Mommy. *sighs*

Believe me or not, gadgets can affect your health. Here are some you might want to know:

Have you ever watched Wall-E? If you already watched it, then you might can picture how the technology cause a great impact towards the world. If you haven't, then you should go watch it. It's AMAZING! Trust me ;)

this is a clip from the movie Wall-E

In a nutshell, technologies are making human zombies. Making us addicted just like how zombies are addicted to blood. Making us killing each other a little by little. We should always not misuse the convenience provided by technology. Think before we act, before it's too late for everything ;) See ya on my next post!πŸ’–πŸŒΈπŸŒŸ

Free education for everyone, Yes or No?

SHOULD EDUCATION BE FREE FOR EVERYONE?πŸ“šπŸ“

HeyyoπŸ‘‹πŸ˜‰! It's already been a long time since the last time a blogged. So, as for today I would like to share my opinion on "should education be free for everyone?".

What do you guys think? Is it a should or a shouldn't? Well, I strongly believe that education SHOULD NOT be free for everyone. And with that, I have my own reasons why I said so.

First of all, students who pay for their education for example, college are more motivated, hard working and independent. Many students would have poor motivation to finish school, because they can always come back. As a matter of fact students with ambitions to get university degree are learning much harder in high school than other, who thinks they don’t need an extra paper. There are many students that are so smart, and they will find the way to get money for school. With extra work and help from family students will be able to afford college tuitions. Students need to depend on themselves; otherwise every taxpayer will have to cover their education expenses.

Besides, education without fee may affect directly teachers' salary and government budget. Firstly, a number of teachers will give up their job to find a well-paid one. It is said that , the number of students inversely proportional to the number of teachers. For instance, a class normally has 39 students and a teacher but now if there are 50 pupils in the class , teachers cannot make sure all their pupils understand the lessons. Secondly, the government do not have enough money to build more schools and universities. They have had to consider a diversity of fields such as : education, transportation , economy and so on. Therefore, it is hard for them to satisfy with people requirement of education.

If its free to everyone , who would pay for all the expenses, who would support all the money needed for maintenance, labors, etc for the infinite amount of people at a learning age?
In exception if its a country with a strong government and economies, then if it can make education be free to everyone, why not, but is it possible?

Well, some of must might can't afford, but remember we do have charities and trust funds don't we? That's where we can help the unfortunate ones to make their lives better. :)

That's all for now,, if there's anything to tell or to correct me if I'm wrong, never hesitate to leave a comment below! And don't forget to check out my other posts hehe! ThanksπŸ’•πŸ’•
